Foxgloveㅤ ㅤSanctum

Criminal | Dark | Mature

Deep in the heart of the Mists lies a place for those who hunger.A gathering of the unwanted, the dangerous, and the forgotten. Criminals, outcasts, and the broken. Drawn together by a shared desire to carve their own place from a world that would rather they disappear in the shadows.Under the careful lead of Doctor Graves, the Foxglove Sanctum does not promise safety. It promises payment and a place to rest, but only for those that are willing to work. A haven for the wrong kind of people. Every job, every step forward, is earned in blood.

The hungrier the beast,
the more it will be willing to do to satisfy that hunger.

What are you willing to do?

For those that join, some of the things that await them:

Activities

Wondering what sorts of things we do?

The focus of Foxglove Sanctum is on organic growth. This is for both characters as well as the organization itself. Everything is earned- there is no hand waving. Here are just a few of the events that are offered:

Weekly Events
We host one scheduled event every Saturday at 7pm EST / 4pm PST. This can range from a social meet up, fishing trips, sparring, to more serious story beats that are connected to ongoing plots that everyone is invited to attend.
Territory Expansion
What started as a small group in the Mist has grown into a rising force within La Noscea. Every new foothold we gain is backed by contracts, events, and missions that further our reach in an overarching and connected plot line.
Flexible Missions
We have varied missions every week with different themes, flexible to fit schedules without overloading anyone. These are smaller scale compared to our events, though still just as important and connected directly to the ongoing stories. Whether you're a strategist, infiltrator, or brawler, there's always work to be done... and always someone willing to pay for it.
Turf Wars
Expansion isn't without resistance. Other groups may try to take our turf, or enemies we've displaced might attempt to reclaim what's theirs.
Social Meetups
Whether it's a fishing trip or a drink at our basement bar, we aim to create a balance of work and downtime, fostering camaraderie among our members.

Hooks

If you're thinking about joining us, below are a few hooks to lead to the Sanctum. If you don't feel like any quite fit your character or situation, let us know so we can discuss specialized ones.

  • Graves, the 'owner' of the flower shop, is a sawbones known for his low-cost work on those with criminal ties. Whether you’re a past patient, black market client, or simply in need of a “special” procedure, he’s always looking for more business.

  • With a few connections in the underworld, the Sanctum has put out word that they're looking for people who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

  • The Lambs of Dalamud have taken a keen interest in the Sanctum. If you're familiar with the cult or have your own reasons for wanting to destroy them, you'll find like-minded individuals here.

  • There’s been rising interest in the new leadership controlling the Drydocks and Lower La Noscea. If you’re looking to work with them, get in touch with the Foxglove Sanctum.

  • Whispers of a voidsent pulling strings across La Noscea have spread through the shadows. Some scared Spoken have started to hunt down void-touched individuals, regardless of their alignment. If you’re looking for a safe haven, the Sanctum can provide refuge-but you’ll have to earn your keep.

Our Story So Far

La Noscea

K'aren and the Mists Improvement Society for Tidiness and Standards

The Mists

Securing a front for our operations in the Mists wasn't easy. While acquiring the Foxglove Sanctum flower shop was simple, we quickly clashed with K'aren, who controlled the M.I.S.T.S board. While we first thought that she was just a woman that used her own power to rule the Mists with an iron fist, it became clear that she had deeper, more sinister connections.
Before we could find out more, she vanished. Mopping up the people she left behind was simple but who knows if we'll see her again.

K'aren

Shatterfist and the Saltfangs

Lower La Noscea

Looking for our first area to expand to, Lower La Noscea was ripe with opportunity. With the Red Rooster Stead shipping to places all over Vylbrand and the dual docks to the south, it was only natural to find a group there already: the Saltfangs.
Led by Jorund Shatterfist, he refused to even entertain the idea of partnership. We were able to overthrow him and the rest of the gang but there were strange signs pointing to the same dark connections that we'd seen hints of in the Mists.

Shatterfist

An Unexpected Ally

Eastern La Noscea

After our victory in the Drydocks, we attracted the attention of a woman named Azurne. The enigmatic owner of an underground casino near Costa Del Sol, she asked for help with a missing shipment in exchange for information connected to visions granted to Graves by an item recovered from the Saltfangs: the corrupted Thaliak's Font.
While the items were never recovered, the information we gained was of crucial importance: a strange gas that drove creatures and allies into a frenzy that left a trail that led to the hot springs in Upper La Noscea.

Where Lambs Prowl Like Wolves

Upper La Noscea

No longer open to the public, the Crystalline Haven was the premiere experience for the rich and affluent. While there were cabins promising resort treatments, they had an undercurrent of offering the 'poor' experience.
And to them, that included a carefully curated 'black market' near the springs. However, while on the surface the owners kept things in order, there was a lurking threat that preyed upon the visitors- the Lambs of Dalamud, a chapter lead by a strange woman named Mythica. They lured our people into a trap and took them. We got them back but only after careful planning and a dangerous rescue.

Mythica

The Tower beneath the Veiled Shroud

Western and Middle La Noscea

Following a lead on K’aren, we returned to the Haven black markets and spotted him working alongside a strange woman: Seraphine Duskbane. Cloaked in honeysuckle and unsettling charm, even our members were not immune. Azurne warned us she operated out of Western La Noscea and that she was dangerous.
Following the trail, we found the Sunspire Order hunting the void-touched with no room for mercy, even those bearing minor curses. The Blackwake Company mercenaries stood in their way, offering aid to locals caught in the crossfire. Meanwhile, a creeping fog was draining aether from the land, leading to a tower where the people said the Great Lady Seraphine hosted her opulent parties.

The Tower

A Night to Remember

Western and Middle La Noscea

Moonlit Whisper, a perfume recovered during our investigations, carried a velvet seduction beneath its gardenia scent. Those who caught even a hint found it hard to resist. Erol, lured by its effects, found himself at one of Seraphine's infamous parties. What began as a haze of highs and pleasure ended with him waking in a ditch, covered in blood, surrounded by corpses.
After that night, the fog spread, thick with void corruption and steadily draining the aether of all within. Its pull led directly to the tower's spire. If we wanted to take over the territory, the source had to be stopped before it killed everything.
Using the next party as cover, we infiltrated the tower and destroyed a magitek device storing the fog in a super-charged aether crystal. But the victory came at a cost: one of our own, Veistla, was gravely injured, and our retreat led us straight into Seraphine's trap. While we fought the machine's guardians, she slaughtered her guests and revealed her true nature- a powerful voidsent in disguise.
Before we could act, she summoned Yellowjackets and guards to frame us for the massacre. As they closed in, the Sunspire Order crashed through the chaos. In the confusion, we escaped but not without loss.

Foxglove Sanctum Rules

These rules are here to make sure everyone feels safe and has fun in our space.
If you have questions or concerns, leadership is always open to feedback.

General Rules

  • All members must be 21+.

  • This is an LGBTQ+ friendly space.

  • No political or religious discussions.

  • Keep ERP private. Light spicy talk is fine, but this isn’t a hookup group.

  • Please disable NSFW mods or ensure characters are fully covered while RPing with the Sanctum.

  • Assume good intent in message tone, but report malicious behavior to leadership if there is an issue.

  • In-character conflict is fine, but it must stay in-character. Communicate with your partners about limits.

  • Real life always comes first, but we aim for active RP. We may check in with inactive members or remove them as needed. Let us know if you need an extended break.

RP Rules

  • All characters must be 18+.

  • We limit members to one main and one alt per player. We aim to develop active, frequent participants and that's hard with more than two characters per player.

  • No Canon NPCs: MSQ characters like Estinien don’t belong in our RP.

  • No Ascians/WoLs: High-power RP is fine within reason, but Ascians and WoLs complicate power levels and lore.

  • Void-tainted, cursed, reapers, and void-themed characters are okay, but no full voidsent or sin eaters due to power balance and lore complications.

  • Lore-bending is welcome, but don’t outright break it. Use lore as a framework, and ask if you’re unsure.

  • Don’t use information gathered OOC for IC - it ruins immersion and plots.

  • Always ask before joining an active scene. Public spaces should always be open for people to join but it's still good to ask for permission.

  • Try to give an IC reason when leaving a scene early, unless it’s an emergency.

  • We follow the general rule that each expansion equals one year. We keep ourselves one patch behind live servers to give people time to complete new content. (e.g., Current RP aligns with Dawntrail 7.1; no 7.2 events.)
